Bonita Clark—Researcher
Bonita Clark worked for 9 years as a stationary engineer at the Stelco plant in Hamilton. She fought a precedent-setting case against the sexual harassment and anti-female discrimination the company subjected her to. The settlement was a pioneering one that gave added protection to women workers.
Bonita went on to graduate with a law degree from Osgoode Hall law school at York University. She won many claims for workers seeking disability benefits. Bonita now does research work at Stan Gray Consulting.
