Stan Gray—Certified Paralegal

Stan Gray graduated from McGill University in Montreal and Oxford University in England. He worked for 11 years as an assembler at the Westinghouse plant in Hamilton.  Stan became a shop steward and safety representative. He led health and safety struggles that were precedent-setting for Ontario workers.

Stan later became the Director of the province-wide Ontario  Workers Health Centre, sponsored by a number of unions.  The Centre found diseases and death from workplace toxic exposures. It helped workers and their unions achieve major cleanups. It exposed company and government cover-ups. Stan later became a full-time representative for injured workers, and other victims of injustice.  He has won countless cases in the last 15 years, including some that were precedent setting.  Stan represented a group of injured workers from Dofasco; he wrote a report showing how they were unfairly denied benefits or terminated because of their injuries. Stan is a certified paralegal.
